What makes handcrafted soap different?

Handcrafted soap is made in small batches using real oils and butters. Unlike many commercial soaps, it keeps its natural glycerin — the stuff that helps your skin stay soft. The result is a bar that feels gentler, richer, and more nourishing.

Is it all‑natural?

We focus on simple, plant‑based ingredients: oils, butters, clays, botanicals, and essential oils. Some bars may include safe, cosmetic‑grade colorants or fragrance oils. If we use them, we list them clearly so you always know what’s in your soap.

Does handcrafted soap contain lye?

Yes — all true soap starts with a lye solution. But don’t worry: during saponification, the lye and oils transform into soap, and no lye remains in the finished bar.

Is handcrafted soap good for sensitive skin?

Many people with sensitive skin do well with our fragrance‑free or colorant‑free bars. Everyone’s skin is different, though, so patch‑testing is always a good idea if you are unsure.

How long does a bar last?

Usually 3–4 weeks with daily use. The secret to a long‑lasting bar is keeping it dry between uses. A draining soap dish makes a big difference!

Do you offer vegan options?

Yes. Many of our bars are vegan. If a soap contains something like goat milk or honey, we label it clearly.

Can I order custom or bulk batches?

Absolutely. Custom batches are great for weddings, events, or small shops. Just keep in mind that handcrafted soap needs time to cure, so reach out at least six weeks in advance.

Why does soap need to cure?

Curing lets excess water evaporate, which makes the bar harder, milder, and longer‑lasting. It’s worth the wait.

Why do bars vary in color or design?

Because they’re handmade. Each batch has its own personality — swirl patterns, botanicals, and colors can shift slightly. That’s part of the charm.

How should I store unused soap?

Keep it in a cool, dry place with good airflow. Many people tuck extra bars in linen closets because they make everything smell amazing.

Do you ship year‑round?

Yes. We package each order carefully so your soap arrives in great shape no matter the season.

Can I use handcrafted soap on my face?
